“ The food is fresh and excellent! Had grilled oysters, the wood smoke and overcast weather made it all worthwhile! Having a side order of garlic bread made for a complete tasty meal. Real nice people run this fine diner . Terrific parking and an amazing view of the waterfront. I'll be back for more! ”
“ Stopped in on our way to Seattle around 2. We were the only ones in the restaurant and had our pick of tables, a very cute place that has a mom and pop feel. We were greeted by the head chef and given our menus and told the specials of the day. He took our orders quickly with a smile on his face. We ordered the salmon sandwich, and the two specials of the day- the brisket sandwich and the fresh caught coho salmon. It did take about 30 minutes for the food to come out but it was well worth it considering we could see him grilling the salmon on the smoker right outside. The salmon sandwich was very good, cooked very well and very fresh. The brisket was juicy and flavorful and the bun it came on was nice and crispy. Everything was very good and worth its price. Overall had a very nice experience, the food was great and the staff was very nice, (though be sure to come earlier in the day if you want oysters as they were out by the time we arrived). And would stop in again if I'm ever back on the coast. ”
“ Don't forget your cash! Stopped on a whim, and we were limited only by the cash on hand. No cards accepted. $28.85 for half a dozen raw on half shell and two grilled oysters. Hole in the wall, but does have a few picnic tables outside. You have a view of the river and the chef is grilling a few feet away. Oysters were shucked to order and out of this world. Great value for quality, taste, freshness and size. They had a full menu but we stuck to the oysters. Zero regrets. ”
“ Best grilled oysters we have ever had! We agreed they beat Draco's charbroiled oysters in New Orleans. For all the whiners on here: you didn't get the right thing. "Grumpy" or not, guy knows how to grill a damn good oyster. The grilled oysters will take some time so be patient, grab a beer and relax. Cash only. ”
